Cisterscapes app for iPhone and iPad

The Cistercian order has left distinctive marks on European landscapes since the Middle Ages.

This special heritage is being revived through the Cisterscapes network.

Use the app to explore around 600 landscape and settlement traces from 17 landscapes and five countries.

Use Augmented Reality (AR) to explore selected monastic landscapes on site in 3D. The following partner sites currently support Augmented Reality:

All content in this app is free.

After installation, this app can be used both with and without an internet connection. Within the app, images and audio files can be downloaded over the Internet for the best experience.
